Today's Lesson: Half your "hunger" during the day might actually be thirst. Every afternoon around 3, you get that urge to snack. You grab chips or a granola bar, eat the whole thing, and 20 minutes later you're still not satisfied. Here is what actually happened: your brain reads dehydration and hunger almost the same way. You reached for food when your body was actually asking for eater. The Fix: drink a full glass of water first, then wait 10 minutes before deciding you're still hungry Most days, the craving fades on its own. If it doesn't, then eat!
